[981] Two different Vietnam PKMs
The alternativ AR of the NVA, the PKM are two different weapons on doployed and on 'normal' mode, what means, that I still have 5 clips for the on deployed mode, if I shoot the 'normal' mode empty.

So the ammo isn't linked?

Actually similar thing happens to me with all ARs from time to time. I reload not deployed version and then I have to reload deployed version again. But this is even worse.

If you switch between deployed and undeployed while reloading you wont reload.

Sometimes I've seen mag linked weapons take a little while to decide to update their mag counts when you reload or rearm one. Has always caught up though. This is over all versions of PR.

Re: [981] Two different Vietnam PKMs
That's because the mags are linked (through python, I think), however the bullets left in your current 'magazine' are not linked as far as I know, so when you reload in one of the deployed/undeployed, it decrements the 'magazine' count by 1 on both, but the current number of bullets left remains unchanged in the one you didn't reload. This can, afaik, lead to slightly more ammo than you're supposed to have.M.Hart wrote:Actually similar thing happens to me with all ARs from time to time. But the system we have is better than nothing IMO.

Why would you do it through python when BF2 has a built in system for it?[R-CON]Psyrus wrote:That's because the mags are linked (through python, I think), however the bullets left in your current 'magazine' are not linked as far as I know, so when you reload in one of the deployed/undeployed, it decrements the 'magazine' count by 1 on both, but the current number of bullets left remains unchanged in the one you didn't reload. "objecttemplate.ammo.maglinkweapon"
Even thougt the command only says maglink it will actually link the whole "ammo" class.

It's not done through python, it's exactly done how you described Santa...

Well I had no concrete idea, that's why I said "I think", in case those bracketed words were missed.|HBD|Bad_santa12345 wrote:Why would you do it through python when BF2 has a built in system for it?
