Hello, I recently installed PR .97. After rebooting my computer after installation, i tried to open PR for the first time. The opening window pops up and i get a loading icon on my mouse. After 90 seconds or so, the window disaperes and nothing happens. I tried Re-installing the program. Again nothing.
A side note; During installation of Part 3, my security system (Kaspersky) detected a "worm file" and did some things too fast before i could read anything. My computer rebooted, the game still installed, and the problem persists.

Well since your antivirus potentially screwed with some files... the first obvious step would be to reinstall 0.97 (and 0.9 
with your antivirus temporarily disabled. Don't forget to start BF2 & log-in in BF2 once before running PR because it needs to create some special files for you in BF2.
If it's still crashing, report back.

I had the exact same problem and this solution works.
