error unable to open bf2

this is the error I geting when im opening bf2 pr.exe with other program on the desktop like with xfire or something same. When i use clear window to open pr.exe it normaly opens with no problems.

and when im playing the game getting critical damage and geting trown out to desktop with no error

and some times when I joing server I cant see any squad leader icon on the map the big circle with number in it

When PR.exe is executed, it opens bf2.exe and tr.exe and pnkbstrb.exe.

IT is difficult to get xifre.exe to open pr.exe that then opens bf2.exe and tr.exe and pnkbstrb.exe without problems.

IF you go to your bf2\mods\pr directory you can find the error log called PRError.log . Open that in notepad and check the bottom of the page for error messages.

This happens to me also, I'm not quite sure why, it has to do with how TR.exe is hooked into bf2.exe , I don't have an answer for this one.

I think I will gonna reinstall my pr after the big update. To long i have it.

BTW what is TR.exe?

TR.exe is the hacks that the PR team put together to allow PR to have a custom HUD, all the stuff you see on the HUD in PR that is not in vanilla BF2 is part of TR.exe.
