That is a marginal purchase, it is similar to the PC I had in 2008.

There are several versions of the GeForce 9500GT

All the different versions can be broken into four groups,

One had GDDR3 memory, and PCI-E motherboard connection,

One had GDDR3 memory, and PCI motherboard connection,

One had GDDR2 memory, and PCI-E motherboard connection,

One had GDDR2 memory, and PCI motherboard connection,

The GDDR2 memory versions are probably not worth anything.

The PCI-E versions at least allow you to upgrade the video card to a cheap Radeon HD 6670 or something similar.
Memory Specs:
800 (GDDR3) and 500 (DDR2)MHz
Memory Clock
256/512 MB
Standard Memory Config
128-bit
Memory Interface Width2
25.6 (GDDR3) and 16.0 (DDR2)
I have no idea what FPS any of these cards will run with PR 0.981 . I didn't start playing BF2 until the next generation of video cards. Maybe someone else will chime in.

In general useage benchmarks it is similar to the intel i3 Sandybridge integrated HD 3000 graphics, which can not run PR at acceptable framerates.

It ran PR medium / high 1400x900 just fine, although my other hardware is ****.

Should be fine, I played bf2 with a 6800 gt till 3 years ago.

Ditch your sound card if you want to save money.

most motherboard already have 5.1 audio.

I think that processor would be a little bit weak tbh.
