I'll try that before reinstalling the patch.
Just a thought, the max resolution I can select for the monitor in the computer resolution settings is 1280x1024,will this still work properly?
Well i guess it does. The biggest problem with the resolution is I couldn't get the map selection to scroll down at first. Damn skewed menu options.
Ctds with no error at 43%. Wonder why 43% and not 44% all the sudden, it was 43% when I did it normally to test it before I tried this too.
Just got another memory.dll sanity check 3080.00 (same as the 2nd error in other post) at 45% when loading normally (no altered shortcut). I think I'm gonna just reinstall that patch once I download it.

Im gonna guess that sizes probably won't fix the button clicking problems as it's not fully positioned in windowed mode regardless of the resolution, it just skewed things out of position more by altering it.Click the player count type in tab in the browser, you select the one left of it. I don't think the resolution does much in the way of getting rid of the errors or ctds either.Still happens as posted above in previous post.It just proved windowed mode or just running normally causes memory errors with or without screwing the graphics with that console command.

Re: PR Normandy Operation Overlord Crashes on Loading
Well I tried just reinstalling the patch over the current install, no luck. It still ctd with no error at 43% again.I also tried deleting Normandy out of the level folder and reinstalling the patch on top of the current install, no luck, 44% no error ctd, then after rebooting and trying again another memory error (they are always memory.dll sanity check errors with different or sometimes the same place in memory) popped up.I guess I should try uninstalling PR and see what happens after reinstalling it.Although I wonder if I deleted all the objects Normandy related(the fact I could only get it to load after a command that screws up the graphics,More specifically the terrain mostly disappearing, makes me wonder),although the Installer might do this already, whether that would do anything or not, but a full reinstall does that already for everything. For anyone wondering, I never had project Normandy installed before the latest patch.Had falklands and Vietnam though. And the map pack.

Re: PR Normandy Operation Overlord Crashes on Loading
I don't know what changed, but after getting bored waiting for a server to finish playing Normandy (with paratroopers night),i joined the server with normandy thinking it would crash, but it loaded correctly, with the only difference in what I did Being before i joined, I closed and restarted the game after loading a map to load the shaders (I clear the cache after running PR) because I couldnt see the waypoint arrow on the compass. This always happens when a error occasionally pops up saying it can't open bf2 process or something like that when I start PR, but it starts once you click ok.I've seen a thread about something similar on the forums here before.I usually just exit PR before logging in and restart PR,but I forgot it had popped up.I usually load a map for the shaders, then go play online, but this time I loaded a map, exited then restarted PR,then went online. I haven't reinstalled PR completely yet either.Ill see if it works if I try it locally later.
Well Normandy worked, until I restarted PR,then it crashes. I Guess it's still screwy. Although it might have more in common than it already does with what the other couple people on this thread with problems have than I thought (considering it seemed to never work before now compared to working sometimes for a couple others).Ill just have to try completely reinstalling PR when I get the chance and see what happens.

Re: PR Normandy Operation Overlord Crashes on Loading
Problem solved.
I reinstall my system and I renewed all BF2, before reinstalling check the Overlord map on local and functioned as old maps, despite having installed the new several times, German soldiers have burners grenades and cannons don't have scope, the map that allowed players 100+ close the game while loading, I could try it with the 64 and 128 players.
After delete the folder and installing BF2 and PR again, everything worked properly.
