Im experiencing this strange FPS drop once in a while. My FPS drops from 70-90 to 30-40. I started investigating this problem and after some time found out that my GFX cards clock speeds went down while I was playing.
It looks like my GFX card is going into power save mode while playing. This "power save" does not go off after I close Bf2. In order to get the GFX card working properly I need to reboot.
This problem seems to be related to alt-tabbing somehow as it often occurs after tabbing out.
I have latest drivers.

Problem was corrupted driver install. Can be archived.
