Post by SyntheticCoyote »

We here at ]CIA[ want to take your everyday PR to the next level in terms of quality gameplay and organization. Join us in this open teamwork night, where we try to achieve the way PR is meant to be played. Our goal; Deviate as little as possible from the way we are accustomed to in public play.

Event rules:
- We assign a ]CIA[ CO for both sides. CO's call out squads they want created first. Players must obey the order of squads CO demands, or else... exactly. From then on, you continue to play by CO's rules.
- Rest of the ]CIA[ rules apply

CIA PROJECT REALITY RULES

TeamSpeak 3 Server Invitation

Notes:

If this test goes well, we will repeat it in the future, or make it weekly based. Final goal would be to have top quality teamwork with CO seat filled every day, every hour (an alpha test of our upcoming secondary server).

I found the round on Fools Road not very fun due to the fact that the Militia were more focused on killing our armor at the mainbase exit than playing for the objective , and if they went for the objective the Brits were often spread out. It seemed like the commander had a hard time running the British forces , the map after that however , Vadso City , we steamrolled the British and we managed to take over the Island without a shot. We had to defend in once in a while , but overall it was quit easy.

I think that next time you guys want to give the commander an "assistant" that will help leading the troops. I would also select different maps , like one AAS map (Burning Sands) one INS map (Korengal) and one map with Vehicle Warfare or CnC. And let the players vote which of the three they want next , a passworded event with better promotion would also be better since there were still some idiots in the server it seemed.

Thanks B.Pronk.

I felt INS needs even more coordination and thus wouldnt work for the first time. Also without DBmod its meh. High asset maps just attract idiots mostly.

I had a hard time leading the UK on fools, because the TP, which were 1/2 of our team, didnt really communicate. We will be doing this again soon, even more organised; Thinking along the lines of CO and SL signups, the rest is free to join.

You can get quit some teamwork on a regular evening , but I have seen it rarely happening in two teams. It will always end in one team steamrolling round after round. There is just a big imbalance between leaders and soldiers. You can have 31 great soldiers in a team , with those I mean squadmembers , but you need leaders to make them all work together. With an event it is easier to make this happen since you have an organisation already set.
