Buy BF2 from Steam or Origin

Hello everyone,

quick question if you don't mind. My brother in law wants to start out with PR. Currently he has mine but we need a copy for him. We need to try and get it for this weekend as he's coming over for a nice PR weekend <3

I've seen topics come by on here that people had problems when they bought it from steam. Can we buy it from Origen or will that give him problems as well?

I use origin on Win7 32, works fine - didn't need to do anything special

Aah good to hear ^_^ haha yea! I've been trying to get more people in the game but its a very specific taste. So I'm glad I finally found someone crazy enough to try it

There is no real difference,

one extra step in Steam, you have to shut off the Steam overlay for PR and BF2.
Takes four clicks, not a big deal.

Whichever is cheaper,

And you might get that Steam-server-browser issue for whitch there is a nice fix...
I think so too, just get the cheaper one...

Atm. steam is cheaper, I just checked and it is 20 € steam, 10 € origin...


But it could be even cheaper in a shop near you... (most cases)

Sry for this very "delayed" post, but yes, at the time of my post (01-23-2013) it was 10? cheaper, for 10?

And as I just checked, still just 10? on Origin!
