If you would manage to make bot go commander, it could be bot, but I think that this is impossible. So either you need to modify those files, to make it work like vanilla artillery, or play online.

BF2 patch 1.5 screwed up the bot commander, so unfortunately you need a human commander.

Oh, I remember when playing COOP in vBF2 back in the days I didn't know PR, I always got stuck by the enemy artillery when trying to snipe some ********.

Sorry for the long time but I had a problem with internet...so..here are the files to put in menu_server.zip\hud\hudsetup\spawninterface...YOU CAN ONLY DO THIS IN PROJECT REALITY 0.98!!

Now you can place a jdam or the artillery like in battlefield 2 trough the area attack button in commander mode!! :D

Was the JDAM removed in version 1.0?

Yes it was removed due to interconnectivity on uneven terrain and inside cities. You still can call artillery or mortar area attack though.

First of all u need commander and one Squad leader!

SL need to use radio, set the distance (must be visible) and call for artillery!

Commander must then approve it, on the map, by right click on yellow circle set by SL (location of JDAM/artillery). Yellow circle become red, when artillery is approved.

You don't need to select distance Afaik, just point at target and request it. Works similar to SL orders markers.

I'm pretty sure that you aim with binoculars and set the distance at the same time, then you take your radio and call for area attack.

Perhaps you can also set the distance while using the radio... im not sure, however you do need to set a distance otherwise your calling in the area attack on-top of yourself :o ops:

I need someone to confirm this as I'm not 100% sure :D

You don't need binoculars, only radio. You don't need to set distance too. Just point at target and request it with radio.

Yea that's it. Point and "shoot" the order, more simple than I recalled.
