Install Problems PR and Desura

Hi guys been playing on and off for years and i know how long this game can be to install .
I installed Bf2 and then installed the 1.5 patch - downloaded all the PR parts and installed all of those and then went to play and it gets stuck on the first screen.

Im running on a geforce 8400 gs 2 quad core processors and 16 gb ram , my drivers are upto date iv tried reinstalling a couple of times with no joy.

I also tried runing desura and that give me a 404 error message when it tried to update on the first time running it.

any help would be much appreciated , thanks

*Update* Desura is now working and downloading the file *fingers crossed*

So i got it installed via Desura but I'm getting the same problem when launching the game it crashes at the first screen. One time it gave me a message along the lines of pr.exe has stopped working.

My problem is sorted. for anyone with the same problem. . .

I ran the normal game first and then ran PR and it all works fine. . . i'l get my coat
