We have made some changes and improvements to the CO position... in hopes that players fill that role more often. The teams with commanders will gain benefits, in addition to the simple fact that someone is implementing a big-picture strategy.

I hope that the community will have a better attitude toward the CO but from what I've seen over the years I'm pessimistic. If it doesn't work out could you patch the role into a sportscaster?

"and coming in from the south it's APC.. yes it's APC... OHHHH Hat took him out.. man I saw that coming but who's listening.."

Just kidding of course.

Sounds great. I am looking very much forward to see the changed function in action, now a beneficial carrot has been implemented. The big picture strategy factor, has that also been implemented as a tool for the function?

Hope its okay I'm asking. Have always been interested in this specific game function and its future use in PR.

This made me laugh. Thanks :-)

BTW, when thinking about all those attrition battles one commanded, with that exciting waiting time, while the ticket battle turn into your favour or not, why not make a few crazy sport caster comments, watching battle stuff via the UAV.

Define irony. A bunch of guys playing PR year after year. A game teaching initiative as the prime mover.
However, in regard to EA, these guys never took the initiative.

I try to lighten things up when I can. If the team is with you it's good for moral. But you feel absolutely paralyzed and perplexed seeing things unfold at times. And then when a squad asks you for intel then the UAV glitches on you.

On that note has the glitch in the UAV been fixed or is that not possible?

DB mod had it working very well. I dont know if thats what you mean by fixed though.

In the first devblog you said 1.0 was very buggy at that stage. How is it now? is it the same or have you found more bugs?

One of the rules of software development: always have a positive response to finding bugs. Discovered bugs are easy to fix.

Ok, finding bugs you can't resolve sucks, but can at least be worked around.

Their signatures are full of messages for us, as an example, Jafar's have a Taliban holding a Mosin-Nagant in the background, really hard to see, but it's there.

Don't see why a hind would surprise you when it's actually in creation by Grober.

The amount of times that'd been used. Except for the medics bag, that was a bug which randomly got fixed.

bugs that spontaneously and unexpectedly happen or get fixed are clearly the result of divine intervention, so arguing would be pointless :D

Will any new maps coming out for PR v1.0 come with Singleplayer support?

Yes, all of them will likely have coop... and you can thank [R-DEV]Melonmuncher for that. :)

He's been working extremely hard on getting coop layers on every map, including the new ones that you don't know anything about yet.
