If we are talking about New York why not have a map around Indian point with the army reserve base camp smith as the US main

That's a good idea but I wanted to stay far away from NYC, prove that there is something else in New York other than the NYC region.

1-26-13 posted small update on first page. Managed to get forest partially done added in hills and overgrowth.
Planing on making that forest a lot thicker.

Unfortunately I had change some things inside my PR_EDIT folder and have to take a few steps backwards but at least now I have everything I need.

*Update*
It was a nice place to live at one time, that was until this war came. Now all people remember is the horrors of this war the death and the blood in this "devils bathtub".

Note thought of a good name for the map Devils Bathtub named after a local landmark.
Mendon Ponds Park - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Could a moderator please update the name to Devil's Bathtub.

Sadly there is no woodlands Abrams guess Bradley and Stryker will do.

Where did you find those houses in the last picture? Did you get them after setting up editor to work with PR or did you manually add them from another map?

They came from BF2 vanilla, in a resources bar folder in the editor called America, if you don't have them you have to do the extract here thing in your PR Edit folder. Although two of the buildings in there were PR militia statics.

I believe it was in the statics-> america-> objects-> midnight sun part of the resources bar. If you poke around in the america folder you'll find it that's how I find a lot of these statics poke around for a few minutes until I find what I'm looking for. It's called XP2_church_01

Hey man, I can't find those houses. Is this also how your America/Buildings folder looks like?

Those are PR statics, thus they are in the pr folder, or at least I think see some statics from the house_dest series

"Those houses in the last picture" are america statics.
Not all Booster Pack objects are featured in PR so if you need any that don't come with PR, you'll have to get them yourself.
You can find them in /mods/bf2/booster_client and server/staticobjects/america/buildings/

They aren't from the house_dest series they are russian_house statics or something to that effect.

PR doesn't include all the america/booster pack or xpack statics in our download as it would uncessarily increase the download size, you need to fetch them yourself from the main bf2 mod folder or expack folder like dergammla indicated :)

There are some very useful things in those folder, just be aware you'll need to lightmap them in 3dsmax (unless bf2meshviewer is able to make good samples for them)

Alright thanks, do you know if I need to lightmap statics which are already used in other PR maps, for example if I want to use that church which is also used in Vadso?
