It would be cool if the army men were a whole mini mod by itself. Complete with plastic vehicles and levels like in the army men games. Obviously the devs have alot more important things to work on but it would be a cool idea! Maybe a community effort could get it going?

Someone should keep doing this indeed. But nicer skins, not such that burn the very eye, and maybe no running/moving animations, just the little plastic pod under their feet, for added "realism".
Also, there should be WW2 therem, with grey wehrmacht.

An Army Men mod could be possible, would be fun
. I'd rather base it off of the Army Men Classic toys/video games
.
M16A1 - Green/Tan
Colt 45 - Green/Tan
Binoculars - Green/Tan
M60 - Green/Tan
Flame Thrower - Green/Tan
Bazooka (PR:N) - Green/Tan
Willy Jeep - Green/Tan
Willy Jeep M60 - Green/Tan
M-48 MBT - Green/Tan
UH-1N Huey - Green/Tan
UH-1N Huey CAS - Green/Tan
AH-64 Apache - Green/Tan
M35 Truck/Logistics - Green/Tan
Would need large statics, like maybe a Large house for the background - low poly static, and etc.
I would definitely love to play this and would help out in development

Someone put a design plan together, and lets get started on this! I had literally balls of fun last night, so i would be interested in making some statics for this
Maybe a map inside house, battling on tables and sofas

I think it's an awesome idea. I imagine a map of a room and have PR autodeploy on the computer screen, or have us fight over a pool table (could be one huge table static and then things like pool balls, books/magazines, a glass of water tipped over, an ashtray etc for cover). The concept alone lends itself to originality, despite there being a few games based on exactly the same thing it hasn't been done in a while and it has rarely been done right.

So an idea for a map could be a model train set. I used to play with armymen all the time with my trainset, was a flat sheet of wood on a couple sawhorses, with a styrofoam mountain that a separate branch of track ran around. You could include some misc. buildings to act little model buildings, add some static non-swaying plastic trees, and add some model train statics
maybe even a drivable steam engine or diesel engine?
Edit: also, don't forget to have a bucket of armymen at each main base, tipped over or something and players spawn inside it ;D and also maybe some boxes of tank or Huey toys or models if the asset is on the map? Damn this has a lot of potential to be fun ^^

I'd rather stick with the Army Men toys and games, Don't think they had a littlebird.

Well in Air Assault they used the AH-64D Apache
along with Hueys. I'd prefer to keep it at that at least for helos that is.
