Which is better.
I have a buddy who is interested in playing PR, but he is afraid that his graphics card is not compatible. He has a ATI Radeon 3400 and he wants to know if its better than a 8500. If so he'll get the game, if not I guess he's missing out.

There are several different Radeon 3400 products.
THey are all better than the 8500 range of products.
Without the exact model number it's hard to say, the low end are marginally cards for PR, the best 3400 series should work on low/medium settings with no problem.
