LEVELS: Made a few more updates to Ramiel. Changed fog settings to make VD drop-off less drastic (cxxxxs #xxxx). Removed a ton of fire and smoke systems to help with performance, without sacrificing the look and gameplay; this should help server cxxxxxxxs a bit (cxxxxs #xxxx). Added undergrowth, especially in areas that didn't have any at all. Removed some trees that were in the middle of the road and added a few trees in other places. Re-lightmapped the terrain. (afsoccer) 470
With the addition of the ARF to Ramiel as well, Ramiel should be more fun to play!
Also seeing the addition of off map mortars to Taliban and Insurgents on some INS maps.
LEVELS: Moved Qinling to the levels archive, it won't be in 1.0 (ancientdude) 349

I agree, but, I think they could completely rebuild it to be more favorable towards infantry. For fun I had a mess around with it (literally for fun, no aims to include in anything or distribute or whatever) and tbh it's not the easiest canvas to work with. The work to improve Qinling is basically the sameamount of work to get a whole new map running tbh. I really didnt like qingling.
It was so hideous and had lots of bugs. Plus the giant 500m flags really never produced any good fighting
