bf2.exe has stopped working
Ive been playing PR fine for a while, until today. I started playing and then decided to quit the game. A few mins later i changed my mind and decided to go back on it, except now i keep getting bf2.exe has stopped working. Ive tried to set affinity but I dont even get the chance because bf2 crashes before i can. Ive also tried updating pb (no updates found)and disabling steam overlay. Aswell as that ive tried verifying game cache. The only other thing I can think of is complete uninstall of bf2 and PR, but I really would prefer not to as it will take a while.

Is vanilla BF2 offline working?
Is vanilla BF2 online multiplayer working?
Can you restore your PC using Windows Restore to before the crash?
Please give system and OS specs.
Edit your PR shortcut and ( what AfterDune said ) put this in it
"C:\Program Files\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +restart +menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +szx 1280 +szy 720
Dont just copy paste this, but adjust to your install location. Make sure you dont omit quotation marks or it wont work.
If you start in windowed mode and it CTDs, a Message will pop up telling you the problem. Take a screenshot or write this down and post it to this thread.

Bf2 vanilla gives the same problem, and I cant restore.
system specs: win7 64bit, intel core 17 960 @3.20GHz, memory 12GB RAM, graphics GeForce GTX 680
UPDATE: I just tried running PR before editing shortcut and i managed to get to the main menu (then i quit because i dont have time to play a game) so i will presume that its working again now, but do you know if there is a way to stop the CTD in the future?
