45 degrees Celsius ? I'll be dying out there ! At 25, I think it's too hot

I hope you had a nice trip :)

Must be bullshit. Wrong information in wiki. I mean its basically spring here right now and its 45...summer is now slowly starting. And the locals said that its about 50 and more everyday in summer.

Awesome Video! Haven't seen such a good gameplay video in a while.

The ingame muttrah seems alot nicer than the actual one, there's more green stuff and fewer cars that are annoying. Also, you cannot feel the heat. Must've been horrible.

The logistics on the MEC team seem somehow better in real life though, because they alway try to pick you up ;)

Awesome video Spook, dunno how many times you thanked me in it hehe :D

BTW those traffic circles are called roundabouts and the giant white thing @ 40:50 is a giant incense burner that's part of the Muttrah park that's outside of the city, didn't make it since its outside of the maps view distance. Also behind that construction wall near the fish roundabout, its been a few things in the past, use to be a parking space (as it is ingame), then was some sort of park/plaza and looks like they are changing it again...

Really interesting seeing the video, some bits I hadn't seen refs of before and areas you went that I had no refs of, but ye, all really awesome to see :D

lol, need to add some bots who drive around the taxis ingame and stop at every chance they get to pick someone up, giving your super secrete location away :D

Instead of birds flying you could add Taxi horns beeping :D

Nice video, really exiting to see the map from a real life view. Good job recreating the place, rhino got enough things right to make the city recognizable in just a few seconds.

I'm planning on posting this video as part of an upcoming dev blog in the next few weeks, when I get time and then it should get a lot more views :)

Cool. A good opertunity to give the mod a more realistic feeling. The video is realy good and i loved to see how Muttrah is in real life. :)

When I was flying to Abu Dhabi, I took a look at Al Basrah btw :P

...

@Rhino: That would really be a nice touch for my efforts and a cool completion of the whole trip. So thanks for considering this :)

This thread needs more attention. Watching the video right now, awesome stuff. And shame on Rhino for making you nearly collapse :P

What I learned from the vid:

- Muttrah City needs a whole bunch of these taxis, otherwise it's just not realistic
- Muttrah night would really look awesome.
