Cant play PR - CD KEY INVALID

Hey,

I have installed BF2 fresh, all Patches, and then PR. But when i want to join a Server, its always: Your CD Key is not valid (But i can play on Vanilla BF2 Servers, i also can play on only 1 PR Server, but this is from Russia, with terrible Pings. Its the Server: 3ebra.ru).

Please help me!!

you need a genuine copy of bf2 to play PR on most servers. the game costs 5euros, go buy it and have fun playing PR.

I have a genuine Copy. Otherwise i could not play Vanilla or on this Russia PR Server.

Sup? the reason you can play on zebra is because they allow pirated version of the game, means disabled the CD-key validation. (I wonder why their license didn't get revoked but yea, not my buisness).

Let's assume you have a legit copy, here are some steps on how to possible fix your game:

If you can join a vBF2 server with PB enabled, your key should be good.


Join a game and type the following in the console ( ~ key)

pb_plist

Find your name, and take note of the 8 digit ID next to YOUR name.

Report back.

I am not a Pirate, ok? Here is my CD Key: - snip. He edited parts of it out, but to be sure I removed the picture. Team members can see it by looking at previous post versions. -

This is all not working...it seems i have to buy a new BF2 from Ebay.

I removed the picture, we believe you if you say you bought it. Perhaps someone else used the same key for an illegal copy? When did you buy yours?

I have bought it some Days ago. But lets wait, i have bought another Copy from Ebay, maybe he can send me only the CD Key, then i dont have to wait for the Post.

Never give your key to anybody - please delete that picture (don't even trust us )

I've checked your playername Phantom.PR and the guid I get back is be81c895 . Can you confirm this is what you get (see my post)..

For all the negative nancies this is a valid key and there are no linked violations against that name... so lesson for you is to not jump to conclusions......

I had that problem. Uninstalling Bf2 and then installing did the trick.

Avoid registry defraggers, optimisers and fixers like a plague. It's proven to not work, and damage your softwares.

Check windows for infection with MalewareBytes scan. Delete useless or hardly used programs and clean cache.
