M113 in IDF can swim.
Think it's a good idea.
Remembered our Friendly Match between us and Korean community. They blowed our bridge up. then we have no way to build a fob cross the river.
CSBs was so hard that time, lose 4 logis. then we gave up.
If US-marines control the bridge and the high ground northwest of the dam. There's no way for MEC to make a constant attack.

The bridge in Jabal is a problem. I like the suggestion. Other solutions would be:
- Double the amount of CSBs per Truck.
I like CSBs, but its to much time/work to get a bridge up/repaired in most cases. You?ve already done all the work implementing CSBs, make them useful.
- Add a road connection from Mec Main Base to Dam at the north-west side of the river.
Before truck speed was decreased to nothing (even tanks are now faster than trucks...) you could drive up the hills in Delta 4 and get to the top of Dam. We need that again for Mec to use the D-E 5-6 area for fobs.
- Or just make the bridge indestructible.

CSBs could be wider ... but the M113 solution seems easier.
the CSBs is very narrow...haha how many trucks i saw going down on them

If talking about M113, I say"NO" for it because In my case it looks strange when USMC fights against their own made vechicles.+ Everything seems fine in Jabal.

Nothing wrong with Eastern factions getting western gear.Blackburn92xBHD wrote:PLEASE no M113 to mec forces! isnt it enough that they get the scorpion in PR1.0? also a western tank
Iraq had old british tanks (and russian tanks)
Iraq had british made 'SUPERGUNS'
Iraq had British guns constructed for custom russian clone tank
KSA has loads of western arms
Iran has had plenty of American AIR
that is just off the top of my head without any research. It's fairly realistic to add something western to them.

tutvys13, Blackburn92xBHD don't worry. I doubt it will happen, after all we need M113 in MEC colours first, and that means additional work for no real reason.

Why are people still caught up on the M113? On the first page, Eddie said that the MTLB would be a decent equivalent, and since it already exists in-game, it would only take some quick coding changes to make it spit out crates and remove some passengers. After that, the OP agreed with him and said it would satisfy the suggestion.

Re: Add to M113 with crates Mec Forces in Jabal
CSBs have received an update for v1.0 if anyone that missed it to make them easier to cross and deploy: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196-p ... s-2-a.html

But as mentioned in this highlight here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196-p ... s-2-a.html
They are now easier to cross and even when you do screw it up, more forgiving as you will only significantly damage your vehicle if you fall down into the middle, rather than having it flipped off the bridge into the water.
But as mentioned in the comments of the Muttrah City (v2) v1.0 GPO Updates Blog, the west has sold many things to the ME over the years, Iran being one of the main buyers for western equipment in the 1970s before the Iranian Revolution of 1979, but also many ME countries where supplied, and some like the UAE, Oman and Egypt still receive a lot of western equipment. TBH its surprising that the MEC has so little western made/designed equipment ingame currently
The width of a CSB is first of all accurate to r/l, and isn't the issue to why they are hard to cross. If I was to make them wider they would be even harder to cross in most vehicles, some really thin ones wouldn't be able to cross at all since they wouldn't be able to get both of their wheels on each side and would be forced to go down the middle...fabioxxxx wrote:CSBs could be wider ... but the M113 solution seems easier.

Who said anything about a Western Tank, unless your referring to the Scorpion which is technically a light tank as well as a recon vehicle.Blackburn92xBHD wrote:PLEASE no M113 to mec forces! isnt it enough that they get the scorpion in PR1.0? also a western tank
