I use an alternative to Prio, called ProcessLasso, and haven't used Prio for more than an hour.
A quick guess:
Prio itself needs to run at startup, start with admin privileges, and start early in the boot process.

Do NOT make PRMumble a high priority, it will cause constant desyncs and you'll get kicked back to the PRMumble server ROOT channel.

Re: PRIO taskmanager bf2 High Priority? cant
THANKS GUYS IN THE END I decided on isong process lasso
a very good program if u ask me, i can unpark cores and make preocess default high and set them to a power setting so great on a laptop. you must run it as administrator (else ull wonder whats wrong)
one thing i have going on is a kind of desync, the mouse seems to come unstuck and unresponsive.
is this just a natural effect of setting a game to high process

Do you mean 'stuck and unresponsive'?
Very well could be the problem, are you using the trackpad or an actual mouse?
That question is probably beyond what I can help you with, notebooks run separate drivers for the trackpad and for a USB plugged in mouse, and they interact at a low level with the refresh rate of the notebook screen and display drivers, and ... etc etc.
You could try disabling the trackpad in Device Manager, rebooting, then trying to play PR with a real mouse. Might be an easy fix, beyond that,... could take long amounts of Google searching and testing to find an answer.
