Hey Guys,
As of lately I have been rendering my PR videos with Sony Vegas Pro 12, however the quality isn't always as I want it to be, especially when I start bleeding you will see that the quality goes down. Anyone over here who is also rendering a lot of PR videos without any problems? Could you give me your render settings?
My PC specs;
8GB DDR3
Nvidia GTX 550ti 3GB

Re: Render Settings for PR
After alot of different render methods I found the best for me. I am using Debug Frameserver and Avisynth to serve the frames to my encoder. As encoder I am using MeGui with the x264 codec. you can adjust qualitysettings in Megui very easily and effectively. When the video is rendered I render the sound and merge sound and video files with mkvmerge.
I cannot find any english tutorials, only german once for some reason. I might quickly write one for you later.
Its really the best way for maximum quality and smallest videofile size. Take a look at my Muttrah Video for exmaple, it was rendered that way.

Re: Render Settings for PR
The problem is that it start pixellating, like in this video;
@1:06 you see that a lot of pixels suddenly appear. I somehow can't get really rid of that. I record it with Fraps. I have tried rendering it to AVC, then the pixellating is less. with WMV it crashes halfway with rendering and with MP4 it is the same as in the video since that is an MP4 file.

We are staying up!

This is the render settings I use for my videos. They get some-what heavy on size at times, but they give some good quality, and I can't recall seeing pixels appear like that in my videos, unless I made a mistake in editing.

I remember doing some small changes to the render settings, but nothing major.
