They are involved economically, but military speaking the French army is still the biggest foreign force in Africa then the US and UK.
Canada wouldn't make much sense IMO but I could be wrong.

Nope, Ramiel is inspired by Mogadishu and Black Hawk Down.

It was always based on Black Hawk Down. It was released as a fictional Mid East city due to the fact that the ARF wasnt even in the plans let alone being worked on.

Actually no, do some research on NATO presences in China, and as midnight pointed out economic involvement is the height of it honestly. Military enforcement or intervention is highly unlikely unless it was a hightened crisis or such.

I actually think french would be the best route for them. Thought I saw somewhere the Republic of the Congo has more than 50% of its pop that does or can speak french.

They speak french but with an accent "bledar" (means people from Africa in France the accent can vary around the location), it's not exaclty the same.. it's like comparing a british english to american english.

That subject has been discussed long time ago . . .
AU will get Euro Force EU voices, while ARF would
get BF2 MEC Arabic voices . . . Currently as a placeholders,
but something is telling me that it would remain that way permanently.
