Xfire makes PR crash

Post by Kwalc297 »

I just downloaded xfire today after not using it for about 8 months. Xfire never ran with an issue on my pc(win 7 64 bit). Now when I have pr running and fire up xfire the game closes to desktop. If I try to start the game when xfire is running it wont start at all.

I have tried compatibility mode but that dsn't seem to have any affect.

Anyone know what may be causing this ?

Then dont use X-fire.(if u tried everything)
Delete X-fire completely,(Including files in Documents) download latest one, and install.

X-fire detect game through registry, make sure ur BF2'S registry is fine.

I have Xfire on Win7 64-bit, I run Xfire as admin when I launch it and I get no problems with it. Also make sure you use the official release of Xfire, not the Beta version

Have you installed any other overlays? Raptr is often the culprit, but other overlays can interfere with PR also.

The graphic enhancement causes crashes WITH xfire AND PR. ENB by 'SAM' or something in the Gen Discussion forum.
