Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place.
Im trying to set up my xbox pad to use for aircraft. I have set all the buttons up through xpadder and it all works fine, until I start up the game, then it doesnt work. Ive turned off run as administrator and tried it on. And tried it on and off in the xpadder program also. Still no joy. The project reality icon you click on to load the
Game up has the administrator logo on it, the little coloured shield. Yet run as admin is off? When I click to load it up, it pops up a user control box, which asks about changes to the program. Yes has to be clicked for it to load up. Ive even turned user control off and still no joy. I spent 3 hours last night trying to solve this and im losing my rag as I know other players are using xpadder 5.7 to do the same thing, so it can be done. Please can someone help me out here.
Cheers
Terry

How the hell can you run xpadder on PR, so many sub keys, care to post your layout?

dude I've done this before it works like a fucking charm, like for real it'll blow your mind
now don't think you'll be as good as you are with a mouse and keyboard
No matter how you slice it mouse and keyboard is better
but in my opinion playing PR with an xbox controller on xpadder felt as seamless as if PR was made for xbox
also with a slower paced game like PR, ultimately any downsides to playing with a gamepad is negligible
but don't expect to survive in CQB situations going up against mouse/keyboard players
