Freezing Problem

Hello!
On the beginning i would like to apologize for my bad English and all mistakes

Well, my problem is that i get freezes during different games and maps. Sometimes it is just for few seconds but ususally I have to press 'restart' button on my computer. It doesn't matter what map it is and where I am - I can be inside the battle of Falujah or on the Silent Eagle camping in the grass watching birds - there is no rule.

I am using PC with:
Pentium Dual-Core E5200 @ 2.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512 MB
4 GB RAM
Windows 7

Things i have done:
-cleaning computer (dust etc.)
-cleaning hard disk
-deleting cashe in bf 2 folder
-allowing PR using more RAM

The thing is as i remember i didn't have such problems on the beginning of playing PR, and i am sure that maps used to load much much faster than now...

Does it only happen in PR or other games too?

In some of them yes. It got some freezes while playing Assassins Creed (those newest), Far Cry 3. But it was really rarely. Anyway I didn't have this problem while playing Battlefield 3 or CoD MW3.

I suggest you turn off all Aero visual themes. To save GPU Memory resources.

My first instinct says you are maxing the CPU.
I suggest you attempt to unpark CPU Cores using either this link:

!!! Make sure you download the correct version, either 32 bit or 64 bit !!!

Secondly,
You want to download a system resources logging program, and enable logging while you play PR.
1. Download MSI Afterburner
2. Download and install HWiNFO32 or HWiNFO64, depending on whether your OS is 32-bit or 64-bit.

You want to log your CPU cores. You want to see if you are maxing the CPU usage to 100% on the core that is running BF2.exe

_Are you only getting this freezes in online servers ,or it happen in singleplayer too ?
_Did you reinstalled your windows recently ?
_Do you have a sound card ? (Not onboard)

I had a very similar problem. My computer just started to freeze when playing PR, completely locking up and I had to do a hard reboot. It happened consistently 10-30 mins after joining any server.

I solved this by disabling my onboard sound card in device manager. I use a USB headset so I still have sound.

I am sorry that i didn't answer, but i had no time. Anyway i managed to find a solution by myself I simply removed box of my computer(i do not know how to name it) - looks like it was overheating a little bit hooah!

Try to find temperature monitoring software that is compatible with your motherboard.

The two most popular free softwares are:
SpeedFan by Almico Download SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

and HWMonitor Free by CPUID HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Try those first.

Put the outer case back onto the PC,
turn on the software,
You want to enable logging of the temperature in the software,
then play games until your computer freezes.
reboot,
start the software,
inspect the logs and find out if it is your CPU, graphics card, or onboard VRM that is overheating.

If it is your CPU or Graphics card, you can remove the cooler, clean off the old thermal compound, and replace the thermal compound.

If it is the motherboard, you might have to add a fan inside the PC to blow air directly onto the VRMs, or do as you have been, and remove the outer panel of the PC case.
