Steps to know if a map is ready for public testing:

Does the map actually work?

1) Yes - Good, your map is ready for testing!
2) No - That's a shame, make sure it does before you let the community test it.

The download was available since yesterday but I am afraid I was too busy with exams and scholarship bureaucracy to check it properly before the event.

I trusted blindly that such an abnormality wouldn't occur. It is not the way we do things and even a fair number of community mappers can confirm that we have refused their maps under the pretext that it wasn't good enough for testing or had critical errors to be fixed. This is usually not the way we conduct our events as the past years have proven it (and that I think it gives us an uncontested ground in this community).

However, I decided that it would be better to take the risk and give the community something new to enjoy than waiting for this event at the end of the Summer.

Clearly we can't take any exceptions in the future. This was a one time thing for PRTA and I apologize for all of the people that showed up to see their expectations crumbled. It won't happen again.

Well I just want to say sorry. I was trolling Phlupple abit on xfire, and I think he blocked me...

But yeah this was unfortunate. And I hope it can be easily fixed. Thanks to the dedicate players that showed up. And sorry that it had to end this way.
