Hi Femoser, fast ropes are are joke here. BF2 cannot do them.
The grapple hook ingame can connect to vehicles however, the video is where someone has thrown a grapple hook over the chopper to allow climbing. This is very buggy and doesn't work ingame in any shape that can make it gameplay viable. E.g. the chopper has to remain still, and if it leaves the grapple will remain in midair.

There was a guy about a month ago in the forgotten hope forums that posted a video of him getting them working. Let me see if I can find a link. I would have thought you devs would know about this for sure by now!
