I got BF2 the complete edition off origin pretty much solely so I could play PR.
But when I downloaded and installed it on Desura it just doesn't work.
I'm now trying to download it and install manually.
Anyone know exactly why it wouldn't work form desura?
I'm running windows 8 if that makes any difference.

Desura has some problems we haven't been able to track down. People have been getting what seems like random corrupted files.
The direct http downloads and the torrent downloads are certain to work.
