Ranked server for a pirated copy version

I have Battlefield 2 version 1.5 and project reality latest installed, but I have the pirated version. Can I still join PR server without any problem like "Invalid CD-Key"?

PS: Is there any servers near SE Asia? Or I could just say Malaysia?

Currency here are different, 1 Malaysia ringgit = 0.32 Us dollar, BF2 on steam is 19.99$ but change to MYR 61.95
