This is probably a common problem - the objects within the editor disappear and reappear at different angles. Also, when I begin to zoom out from the objects, they disappear very quickly, even though within the game, they object should still visible from that distance...
and if there was a previous post about this problem which i didn't see, I apologise
Any solutions?

Re: Glitchy Objects
It could be several things... Could be the difference between using Direct 3d or using OpenGL rendering in your editor, or it could be your troubled item's various LOD view distances set incorrectly, or it could be a problem with the model itself, i.e., the model isn't closed off, or you've got z-fighting because somehow the model itself has a duplicate mesh that wasn't removed. I mean really, there are quite a few different possibilities. I'd probably start by switching editor renderers first. If you're using OpenGL, then switch to Direct3d rendering, or vise versa, but primarily BF2 uses Direct3d to render.

Re: Glitchy Objects
Sometimes if you load a second map in the editor after already loading one (which is strongly unadviseable for many reasons, best to restart) this can happen and its really bad, just restart and it should be fine.
If however your getting it after loading your first map, what will help is typing into the console box renderer.minculldistance 1000

Re: Glitchy Objects
Never mind, your probably right rhino. Everything is working fine once I reopened the editor, thanks!
