The DEVs might have already addressed some of this in 1.0 as I've noted another thead that solicited feedback about ROE punishments. The real primary role of a civi is medic but its a risky proposition reviving (collaborator penalty) players. So players tend to find other ways to be useful and enjoyable. I would like to see some vehicles off limits if possible instead of driving them being a liability.

I don't know a single person that cares about teamwork points compared to eliminating the enemies ability to function as a cohesive unit.

To further that point, this is the reason many blufor guys will kill a civilian. The ROE can become more and more strict but the fact remains that a civi giving away a squads location to his teammates is much worse then a longer spawn time (especially if we're talking about assets).

I don't care about my points that much, but I also don't kill civies unless I have to, shotgunning them is so easy most of the time, and if not I either ignore them or run away a different direction.

Unfortunately in general it seems the civilians job is to force blufor to kill them, some are just better at it then others.

civvies should be removed. Unless there is some kind of computer controlled routine to make them behave as civillians they are unarmed insurgents. All an insurgents has to do to bypass an covered approach is to spawn in as a civvie and pick up a gun along the way.

Civis ingame are right now there for spotting and being a medic.

but because you are being punished if you kill a civi people tend to get killed on purpose by mortars and run into bluefor fire.
