[Help]PR maps for Omnicide

Hi Id like to know how to transfer some maps from PR and AP to Omnicide (personal use only!). Ive tried once just by putting a map into the map folder in Omnicide but it didnt work any help would be appreciated.

You need to change factions, object spanners, and maybe even more.
When you are testing it, play in window mode, so you will get error, which can help you with finding out what is causing issue.

go into your server.zip of the map, then check the init.con file and the gamemodes/gamemodename/layer/gpo.con files. In there you will have to replace all PR specifics as Moszeusz said, in the init this will be the factions, and in the gpo's this will be all object spawners.

You will also need to change your serverarchives.con and clientarchives.con file so that they load up all the PR archives,otherwise none of the PR statics,effects,etc. will load.

Honestly, if you don't have a bit of bf2 modding experience or know how to play around with the archives I wouldn't try this. it's a waste of time. And we can't explain every single thing to replace or edit in order to make ti work. It wouldn't be worth it anyway as the maps are designed for a different gametype and so on.

maps also need a special kind of bot support to make them more like zombies
