Re: ]CIA[ Projekt Indigo (North America)
Guys the fedback is wonderful, this is exactly what Ace and myself are looking for, We cannot make this a good place to play without help from you guys in the community. Keep it coming. I will be taking a back seat with Indigo as I assigned it to Ace as his baby.
As for enforcement of following orders I hope with time that people will understand that the mood and vibe of this server is for more serious teamwork oriented gameplay. We aren't going MilSim here or trying to have insane admins. My admins need work, I admit that, and CIA is trying to do exactly that with this server. I digress, eventually we can have that but I forsee players abusing that to get someone kicked so they can have squad lead etc.

I have been playing almost daily the past few weeks and I have never seen it up once in those weeks, maybe because I am from Europe but I have the feeling that even when it is prime time in the US it is still not filled.

You're absolutely right. The project leader, Acemantura, has had some problems rallying people to help him with getting the server going (in terms of population, not technical aspects), as well as being busy with real life and not having much time to do much with it.
The idea was great, but the execution was not the best.

Well if you need help from the community certain people need to change their behavior. The Kokan & Hookers server is sometimes suffering from bad behavior, people doing what they want and that turns into 60% of the server population leaving. Also the focus on mainly infantry gameplay, maybe it is just me, but after a while playing infantry layers only will get very boring. After 2 rounds of Shija Valley (Alt. Inf + 2 APCs) you are fed up with it and people are eager to hop in a tank. But I guess you guys probably found that out already.SyntheticCoyote wrote:We are trying to pop it on teh weekends. My work has been burning me out and I am too tired to rally members who are completely unmotivated to play due to new games and whatnot.
If you'd like to try to get the server going, join it on Friday night and wait for members and other players.

Had the best round of insurgency on Operation Archer just now. For the first hour or so there were no admins cos the traffic was all from the TG server crash (should thank em
)We got pushed to the last cache at the airport and held the Canadians off. You guys should run/admin Projekt Indigo Server more often!
Perhaps the world is not made, perhaps nothing is made, a watch, without a watchmaker.

That's really not a terrible thing, as long as the map rotation is different. There really is room for 1 more US server till the 64/64 barrier gets broken. I admit I hammer away with autodeploy for spots on HOG or CIA instead of just trying to seed the next logical 3rd US server (4thSFG)
