Madain Invasion
Location: East Iraq, Near Baghdad
Size: 2km
Factions: British Army (Pending) VS Insurgents
Game play type: AAS & INS

This insurgency map will be set in the town of Madain, situated in eastern Iraq. After researching the town, I thought this looks like a great place to play PR! The mix of rural and urban looked really good and the river which is to the west of the city can split the Opfor territory from the Blufor territory.

So far, I've tried to keep the map as accurate as possible but have included certain changes such as bridges to improve game play. I also changed the shape of the river. The main points of intrest will be the caves and village in the North West, the aircraft crash in the South West, The hill in the centre of the map and the holiday resort situated in the North East.

Is there only one image you wish to show us? I would like to see the concept for example, ie. the square that you picked to base your map on

Don't use those fields they are far more resource intense than the other fields; so they can only be used on very low view distance maps

Interesting choice with alot of potential. Id recommend you rename it though Madain invasion sounds a little like a Bf1942 map or something. Id recommend something like well just Madain or Madian West etc. Youll most likely have to cut down on the amount of objects as well otherwise it will lag intensly. Nonetheless very interesting map something very good could come of this. Goodluck.

About the map: you have some time infront of you with mapping, takes time to make a quality map so keep on working.

Oh I like that song. But please, don't just post the links to screencast. I understand you're using Jing to take the photos, but use an image hosting service and resize them to work inside forum rules than just embed them into the post.

Man loading music is a little too electronic for me maybe try a blend of Islamic music and that music just like the loading for Lashkar valley.

Compared to the PR sound track, it is very electronic but I wanted to make music more like the BF3 sound track. I'm trying to get a friend of mine to do some islamic praying on the track which would be awesome but I don't think I'll be making anymore drastic changes to the musical score - Thanks for the comment

the eletronic tone is ok ; it's not techno either. it Reminds me a little Jean Michel Jarre's Chronology.
