Mumble is not stable
Not really sure whats going on with it but it happens to about everyone. Mumble goes up and instantly crashes.
And the worst part is that it alt tabs me at THE WORST MOMENTS EVER!

If you are running the beta DO NOT start PR Mumble V1. Mumble is now integrated

Do not start mumble manually, at all.
Mumble is integrated with the game.
Start PR 1.0.
Alt-Tab
There is an invisible mumble icon in your system tray. Click on it to change your usual mumble settings.
If mumble crashes in game, or if you lose comms, Alt-Tab and "Send" mumble error report. Mumble will restart after you send the report.
Alt-Tab back to the game.
You're good to go.

Is it possible to use Mumble 1.2.3 (not PR Mumble), cause our Clan use it for internal communication?

I guess you could run it, but it won't work like PR's Mumble works, with the auto-switching and everything.

It depends for me. Sometimes mumble works fine, other times it is constantly crashing.

Re: Mumble is not stable
Ok i finally downloaded the Beta and it seems that it is not possible to start Mumble 1.2.3 (NOT PR Mumble) and Beta PR Mumble at the same time. If i start PR first, our Clanmumble tries to connect to the PR Mumble Server, the other way around Beta PR Mumble Crashes.

There is no separate Anders soundmod, as Anders is a dev and created all the sounds in 1.0
.

Re: Mumble is not stable
Never said I started the old mumble. Afterdune you were there with me last night when it was failing haha. But like someone said its not always doing it. I think the longest I had it working was about 20 mins. Then it would alttab me with the crash report sking if it wanted me to send the bug report. Then it would restart it but when I got ingame it already crashed.

Ok mumble just doesn't start for me, I don't see any invisible icon in the tray. I was in a server and didn't see it.........

You have to be connected to a server to see that icon I think

I've noticed when mumble crashes and sends me to the desktop, I get back in the game and my HUD is gone. Sprint, mag counts, map, spawn screen, squads screen, everything. Hell, only the ASDW keys work until I hit Escape, then it let's me do some other actions, but my hud stays gone. That uhh.... that's kinda a really big deal.

Ok I've noticed in my icon tray on the lower right of my desktop. 1.0 Beta Mumble likes to duplicate itself multiple times. When using any comms, a new icon pops up. Please look into this, if the program likes to start multiple instances of itself, this can cause overlord towards the servers. I think this is causing Mumble to be unstable.
PS: Please add the ability to go to the settings options in Mumble via the PR launcher. The only way to do that is to ALT TAB out while in game, and for some users, it causes them to lose their GUI due to Windows 8

Looked similar to me, but for me there weren't multiple instances actually running, it was just the icon lingering in the tray. When I moved my mouse cursor over them, they would disappear.007.SirBond wrote:Ok I've noticed in my icon tray on the lower right of my desktop. 1.0 Beta Mumble likes to duplicate itself multiple times.
