Disappearing GUI

Game works fine for the most part, and runs fine. Whenever I alt-tab however and tab back into the game I lose ALL GUI elements, i.e: Map, Squad Interface, Weapon Selecting Interface, Compass on bottom of screen, etc.. I can still shoot and move and do stuff fine, but it is fairly hard to play PR without being able to select kits or even respawn. On a side note, its also compounded by the fact that PR Mumble likes to alt-tab me out of game for unknown reasons quite frequently. Any help greatly appreciated.

Interesting note if this could help devs fix this issue.

If you use console command;

game.toggleFullscreen

You can restore your GUI by toggling between window mode and full screen mode. The problem is that fullscreen mode does not restore properly, leaving a lower resolution.

I too am having the same problems with my GUI disappearing with my Windows 8 laptop, but it seems my game is automatically alt-tabbing me out of the game, and when I come back my GUI is gone.

On an unrelated side note: I can't seem to change my mumble key-binds as I don't have mumble from .98, nor a numberpad to use the mumble keys. Is there a way to change the key-binds in this version?

As an update to this, since I didn't want to make a new thread. When I try running in windowed mode the ground textures become sort of invisible, harder to explain so will attach pic.


Upon switching back to fullscreen all "invisible ground textures" disappear completely and its back to normal, pic for reference.


Again any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. Sorry if screens are too big, too lazy to resize.

I suggest running the game in windowed mode for now. This solves it. Make the resolution the same as your ingame resolution, and move the screen so it fits nicely. Until a fix is around this will be the only way to make sure it doesn't happen.
