Remove Contact Report?

Like... who even uses this now?
The SQL radio used for putting markers on the map has become the primary means for marking contacts... and its awesome
All the primary contact button does now is look goofy and get in the way of the new sexy BUIS system...
Can we just get rid of it?

I like it. It's always the first thing I do when I spot an enemy. If you're not the squad leader it gives people in your squad who are paying attention a heads up that there are enemies in the area.

That's right. You always should use mumble becouse enemy can't hear you. If you use commo rose they can.

Mumble replaces so much, especially since its integrated now, maybe we should start thinking about using it to replace sections of the comma rose that could be used for more important things

Yeah. But right now commo rose is really usefull since we got problems with mumble.

Yeah, it's only used to spot enemy air assets. Using it to spot INF makes you look like a stupid beginner and it's useless.

well cant we make it only usable in aircraft and vehicles? for infantry we can just replace it with the BUIS toggle

Mumble goes down sometimes. I still think it is useful for those situations. I don't really see the harm in leaving it in, whereas I do see potential issues taking it out if mumble goes down.

On the other hand, it's easy to identify noobs when they use it.

Did you know that if a commander is present..... the commander can then call back that SL and ask what he saw and then chose it from the drop down list?

Of course the SL could just take out his radio and use that to make the marker himself...... but if he is rushed and need backup from other squads via commander then it is still a okay option just to hit CONTACT and hope that the commander wakes up and responds.

In my opinion... leave it as it is.... it works as a "panic" button for infantry Squad leaders

I also agree though that it is hardly ever used as I described..... it is more of a indicator that the player just played BF3 or something where Q is = "enemy spotted"
