Any 1.0 beta server with any player count always gives me a crazy 40 FPS less than .98.
I *think this might be due to 1.0 running alongside mumble and somehow or another tricking Nvidia Optimus to run integrated graphics and not my discrete GPU, which would always give me the smoothest gameplay on .98, 90+ bots, max settings, for example. If you're using Nvidia Optimus, please let me know if you have the same problem.
I am troubleshooting right now, but in the mean time, anyone know a fix? Thanks.

Re: Nvidia Optimus & 1.0 lag
There are a few free programs that will force your notebook to use the discrete card.
I don't have access to a notebook atm that has it installed and forgot the program name.
One way to do it without that software is like this:
Software Level (NVIDIA Control Panel)
Right-click Desktop or Control Panel > NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Preferred Graphics Processor > High-performance NVIDIA Processor.

Re: Nvidia Optimus & 1.0 lag
I had done that to PR 1.0's launcher, but it did not raise fps. I fixed it and now it runs PR normally when I tell it to run mumble as well as PR with discrete graphics. Don't know why, but other optimus users might need to do the same. Thanks for the input.

Re: Nvidia Optimus & 1.0 lag
Thanks for that, going to put in a support ticket to get this looked at going forward.
Would you mind posting your system specs, specifically your GPUs and CPU, so I can look into this further.

Re: Nvidia Optimus & 1.0 lag
Camo, you have an Acer, this is tutorial for HP with same type of intel iGPU + ATI GPU,
Switchable Graphics on Notebooks Configured with Intel and ATI GPUs | HP? Support
Should walk you through most of it.
