The SUIT was totally phased out years ago when the SUSAT came in, hence you only see it in PR:F :p

As for putting a scope on the British GPMG, I've yet to see any pictures of a scope mounted on a "handheld one" while being used by British Forces, let alone just "not very common"

We possibly should look into balancing it out by giving other kits like the Specialist a scope but on the other hand the Brits do have common backup sights with their rifles which is one + point they get over most other factions, but ye, still could look into it.

That's a pretty convincing plastic gun if i ever saw one.
You'd be surprised. Many are made of metal and even have interchangable parts with the real ones.

Anyway, locking as a suggestion, plus the (ex-)MA's comment.
