FOB Spawn-Campers
The amount of times that I've been killed on a fob as soon as I spawn in on 1.0 beta is a huge % higher than I've ever experienced before and I think it should be a serious concern for the PR devs.
It seems to me that with the need for a specialist to take down a fob it is far too tempting for all these new and returning players that often go solo - out and away from their squad - to stay and spawn camp the fob for kills instead of taking it down. I'm sure this will always annoy plenty of PR players, especially long time players, and I don't think it's really in the spirit of PR to be spawn camping, so can I suggest a new system is thought up?

I'd rather spawn and be shot at than have nowhere to spawn.

I spawn camp fobs all day, every day. Quite fun to do but frustrating to be on the receiving end of it. But, this is how the DEV's wanted it to be so meh.

What makes you think the devs want teams to spawncamp now? The purpose of taking away the ability to knife /incendiary a fob was to make the fobs last longer... because there's a lot more ppl playing nowadays that can't be bothered to build any fobs for the team (teamwork).

Vehicles should overrun Fobs, too many times techies or .50cal Humvees' just camp spawns.

How is anyone supposed to know until the first time it happens to them? You can't know unless someone's managed to tell the entire team and every squad leader has told all their guys not to spawn on that fob.. highly unlikely. Spawn campers kill always different people one after the other that have no idea there is someone camping it and will get get cheap kills until someone manages to take him out. If he has some other camper with him then the situation's even worse. He gets a kill off everyone that doesn't know the fob is being camped that spawns there. This wouldn't happen in any real life situation! ... and yet this is also PR, the best game that honestly tries to make things realistic .. balanced between reality and good gameplay. Spawn camping isn't either of those so IMO it's just not in the spirit of PR to spawncamp.
You gotta admit... it's a really cheap thing to do on any game. It's not far off from baseraping is it?! Scummy tactics to use that are usually banned on the even the shoddiest games/servers. Never mind a game that takes some actual skill and numerous learnt disciplines to get ahead in! Who wants their hard earned KDR ruined by some bum just sitting there camping the fob?
I don't think the solution is to work around the problem. The fix is to find the issue causing the problem in the first place.

You can't place a FOB thinking that you can leave it and it will be safe to spawn at. It is usually safe when you have friendlies around it but that's it. It is always unsafe when no friendlies are there.
The only difference from beta and before is that since enemies can't destroy the FOB easily, they can wait for players who fatally assume the FOB is safe to spawn at. Beta or not always assume there is enemy at an unguarded FOB.

Well, one way or the other either spawncamping becomes a normal tactic in PR that everyone has to just get used to, or something is done about the situation. No admin would be able to keep track of all the spawncampers you'd have on a 100 player server especially given how hard it would be to be able to quickly determine which player had the intention to camp from those that are just trying to take the fob out ...it's an impossible job. No one could could choose to enforce the rule.
Some options then are to either:
1) Increase the radius the enemy will deactivate the fob and reduce the amount of enemy nearby to just 1 inf / vehicle (or maybe randomize it a little too so that a spawncamper can't just measure and walk back exactly 50m to let the enemy still spawn but still be as close as possible to shoot them.)
2) Go back to being able to knife the fob... maybe have to stab it a few times to make it so that it's a risky thing to do for the enemy as it would be IRL and to keep fobs up for longer in general.
3) Make it quicker to deploy a fob so in general there will be more spawn points to choose from on the map.
4) Have a larger spawn radius so you don't always spawn right next to the fob. Suppose that'd mean people spawning in random places and through walls though.
5) "Spawn and be shot at" -YankeeSamurai / "Maybe just stop spawning on the camped FOBs?" -Tarranauha200
Yeah well have fun sitting back waiting again another minute or ending up always spawning back at main all the time because you lost your trust in fobs being clear to spawn at.. lets hope there's always a good pilot flying.
6) "Defend the FOB, then" -Cpt.Future
If you wanna stand around waiting for some solo camper guy to find your fob.. you do that, I'll be playing the game.
Don't forget.. it could be a fob that you snuck in behind enemy lines to cap the next flag from... so while you're defending.. the other team is probably pushing on your defense flag.

Deaths on a FOB should disable it (like i believe it used to be) It is a frag fest for campers in 1.0, or even better the FOB spawn point should go red or yellow indicating that it is under attack. A rally point as it is now indicates that it is "under attack" by vanishing..... why don't fobs give that kind of warning? it is supposed to be full of people in RL.

Camping a FOB wont be effective for long when the enemy team is communicating properly.
I would stay with it as it is now but some build in defenses for the FOB would help alot, like a additional wall of sandbags or Hescos around the FOB, or maybe even some kind of Observationtower.
Now that we have rallys to replace any "sneaky FOBs" they should become more like a fortress.

Maybe FOBs should have some protection added to the spawn, like higher+more sandbags.

I ran across a FOB today solo and couldn't do anything except report the FOB in chat and then spawn camp it because I had a standard rifleman kit and couldn't destroy it. I then had to reload and someone killed me and revived all the dead peeps.
You're hit and then hear the shot.
