128 gpo bug

For some reason my 128 loads my 64 layout, spawn points and all even though my 128 gpo is different. Is this a common unfixable bug or is there something special that has to be done to load that gpo?

local games don't support 128 layers as far as I know. And the bf2.exe server neither. You'll have to wait for 1.0 ;)

You just need to run teh 128 layer on a dedicated server then you can play it mate, though I can't remember exactly what you need to set it up anymore :)

Does that work rudd? With the bf2 server.exe? I thought you needed the modified one that supported 128?

always worked for me :)

if you desperately want to test but don't want to set a dedi up, just temporarily move your 128 layer to 64

Yeah, that is what I have been doing. My only concern was I would set it up and it couldn't be loaded due to a bug.

Hasn't worked for me in the past...


Personally what I did to test was to stick the 128 GPO.con in the 64 folder (backing up the 64 GPO.con in another place ofc) then would test it, though running the 64 layer and that works perfectly fine :)
