Apologizng for the stupid mass tk earlier (z0mbeast)

Hey,

To any of you who were playing on the US server # 3, Ramiel map, I want to say sorry for the nade kills. My username was z0mbeast. I think I killed like 7 guys on the roof of a building.

I was on the insurgent team and saw a Huey chopper hover above the same building you guys were on and just automatically assumed you guys were Americans that hopped out of the Huey and onto the building.

I'm not a noob but just made a stupid mistake as I could have called out on local to make sure you guys were friendly. I was able to apologize before getting kicked but to some of you guys that didn't see it, I hope you stumble on this thread.

I hope I didn't get banned.

So, it was YOU!!! It's ok though because you actually did me a favor. I was on the opposite team when that happened. We saw the explosion and bodies flying (it's raining men). You just made a mistake, I'm sure everybody has made a PR mistake now or then. Just check your map that's all. Also. one thing I notice about the beta is that the friendly name tags don't appear above their heads as much like on the v.98. I'm pretty sure people will understand.

You are right. I should have checked my map. I was overcome with blood lust at the idea of destroying an entire enemy squad with one grenade. Instead, I ended up doing the stupidest thing I have ever done in all my time playing PR. I was so gutted. Went from "12 to 6" instantly.

It wasn't so much that the name tags didn't show since both sides were easily discernible in appearance. I only saw their guns sticking out from the building roof top directly above me. The Huey hovered over them a bit before it crash landed. It seemed to me that the chopper was dropping off enemies when, in fact, my team mates above me were bringing it down.

I love how involved a player can feel in any situation being played out in PR. Then again, I really hate letting the team down like that.

I will take it as a lesson to be more cautious and be a better team player.

Just dont bother about it. It's just a game. If you would have teamkilled a person every 2 mins, it would be a bit annoying, but i think everyone on the server knew that the teamkills were not intentional, because the 7 teamkill-messages appeared all at once. Hope you get what i mean.

Thanks for the positive remarks. But I have to give credit to an outstanding game that gets people to work in patient unison. Had I done some thing like this in any other FPS game, I would have felt confident that the tk'ed individuals would not be set back as much. With PR, there is a greater investment of patience and cooperation when a squad works together. It just sucks to take that moment away from people (unless I am doing it to the enemy :twisted . But thanks for the kind words!

I swore long ago never to touch the ArtyIED unless told too.

lol OP don't be too harsh on yourself, those guys made a way more stupid mistake - they bunched up together so much that one(!) grenade(!!) was enough to take out seven(!!!) of them. It's not even a bad luck or something, it's a pure stupidity. You have to be really dumb to stay in such a big crowd, all those guys deserved it. And besides you said you saw only their guns - it's not your fault then, sometimes we have to react as fast as we can, without checking the map and shit.
