Pr .98 not workimg

I got a new computer and it ran the beta great on max settings, but now that I put .98 on it doesn't work. I'm running windows 8, and all it does is the little window that has the Pr logo comes up and disappears, ive tried running as admin and everything I even uninstalled and reinstalled it. So how do I get it to work?

I'm not getting a ".dll" error. it just doesn't start the game, but I'll give it a shot.

Doesn't work. All im getting is the PR launch screen, ive even uninstalled BF2 vanilla

i had something similliar, i just ran bf2 and loaded one map then quit and installed pr and it worked,

Did you install over your PR, or uninstall PR then reinstall it?
