I first saw PR when I booted up BF2 and it was on the message of the day/week on the menu screen (V0.86). I thought to myself, 'A Mod? For BF2? What is this?'. I went and downloaded it and have enjoyed it ever since. Now you guys have really outdone yourselves with the 1.0 beta!! I want to thank the DEVs for putting their money and time into this mod. It brings me so much joy to play as an insurgent civilian and just insurgency games in general! I plan on donating soon and becoming active in the forums. I joined the forums after the beta turned out to be the next best thing - better than the new games coming this holiday season. I also plan on getting a gaming computer this holiday so I can play the game with more detail (i play on all low and 65% view distance).
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: I want to say thanks for PR
Absolutely agree with you. I like playing a civilian too, just because most squads would never let me play with them or do something important in the battle. Before I discovered civilian kit I was running around the map randomly getting killed after 30 min run. Nobody ever helped me or offered me anything, so I mostly just ran around maps trying not to get killed. When I found out that I can be a civilian and enjoy the game as much as everyone does, I was really happy. Now I mostly play this role, same running around but with purpose. Big thanks to devs and supporters for giving me purpose!

I used to love being civilian, but the penalty time for getting "arrested" is too high. This is the only reason I never choose civilian any longer.

The trick is to always have a team mate with a gun near you so that they can protect you and if need be, take their weapon if they get shot and die as a combatant so you don't get arrested.saamohod wrote:I used to love being civilian, but the penalty time for getting "arrested" is too high.
