Uninstalled beta. Now the game won't start

As the title says. Since the Beta was over I uninstalled it via Control Panel/Uninstall, and now the game doesn't start altogether, neither 0.98 nor vBF. (I made sure that I uninstalled the Beta only. The rest of the game appears intact and in place). Has anyone had the same problem or knows the way how to fix it? That would be much appreciated.

Lots of thread about this iirc it is a rendx file that's missing.

I think people re installed PR .98 but search a bit.
