Hello everyone,
The last time I played PR was the 1.0 BETA. After that had past I stopped playing til I decided to go back on today. I uninstalled the BETA and tried to launch .98. The only thing that happened was the start up screen appearing for 30 secs and disappearing without the game even launching. I do not know why or how to fix, so please give me ideas/fixes before I decide to reinstall .98 (which takes hrs for me.)

It's due to some dx9.dll file being accidentally removed by the beta installer, as far as I know.

Thank you for the help!
I had to install 1.0BETA again. Next I had to create backups for RendDX9.dll and also for RendDX9x2.dll. After that, I had to uninstall the BETA, and restore RendDX9.dll, and replace the existing RendDX9x2.dll with the backup RendDX9x2.dll.
I launched the game, and it worked.
