1.0 dun goofed

So, after the 1.0 Beta was over, i simply ereased the whole Project Reality folder that has been created in my programs folder.

Now, I got the preload downloaded and when I opened it and pressed "Play" it said "could not find launcher at *THE 1.0 BETA LOCATION*

So yeah, a big dun goof.
But what do I do now??

u should have used the BETA "uninstaller"

also, u cant simply press "play" before u install it..

Thats the problem.

I didnt do it the right way, so the actual launcher dissapeared. But the registry for it was still there.

Now, i did find ONE entry in regedit that had a long string with the PRLAUNCHER in it, i deleted it and now when i mount the ISO file it does NOT open that little window anymore, it just opens the mount and i can press Setup.exe.

(name of the key was "c84885f3_0")

It did not seem to have fixed it.

your problem is your registry afaik, because you didn't uninstall correctly the program is registered as having still been installed

what you have to do is open your .iso and run the setup.exe instead of the autorun and it'll be fine

however you cannot do this until the password is released on Friday

Ahh okay, i suspected that.

But as you say that I can run the setup.exe instead of autrun calms me down a bit

I just hope when in middle of the setupprogress that it wont interrupt it with some error.

yeah no worries

just open the .iso once it's mounted like you would when you want to explore any CD

or open it with winrar/7zip
