I'm happy as I thought 100 was perfect, 128 was too much on most maps.

Was delighted when it was announced at 100 long ago.

I don't care about public availability, or public play with 200 players. I could hardly imagine anything worst than regular servers with 100+ players. The only thing I'm interested in is, if you will lift the limit for events from time to time, events regulated, or held by the DEV team if necessary.

It would be awesome to have 200p events again, with the needed planning / rule sets and possibly sign-ups beforehand. Increasing the player count to 100+ will be something that'll attract a lot of people to such events, which hopefully will be a major success, as we've seen with these kind of events in the past.

200 player battles are awesome. But I think we should allow the devs some time to see what is best for the mod before jumping the gun on massive events :P

I got kicked for no darn reason for not being in a squad....

Like 7 squads were clan locked with less then 5 players!!! :(

And the last 2 squads were full inf squads.

Dear DEVs: 64 player(s) is perfect. I don't prefer 100p servers with missing name-tags, high ping and overall lag!

Wrong.
I get 28 players less than I was used to. ;)
Once you DEVs released the kraken years ago (which was the 128p testing time) I wasn't able to get it out of my head !

I took part in all of them and I gotta say, I just can't go back!

If you'd just allow it for events, and not for public use. Organized events (maybe even with sign-ups) work very good with 200p, because everyone is keen to follow orders and the squadleaders have a plan.
I really agree that 128-200p on public server would be a mess, but to say there will never be such events is just really sad :(

I knew I would see a thread about this. 100 is what the dev's decided on. You and everyone else should have faith in them to make the right decision.

How about... have it unlimited... let it be a free admin choice... time will tell... 64p is the best, so the most servers would run 64, some of them empty 100p...

Just play with 100 for a while and then you can suggest things :P

I'll lock this because we'll get tons of new threads soon and this is something that we can still discuss in the feedback and suggestions section once you've actually played 1.0 ;)

Just want to add something to that discussion.
100p will be the maximum for servers allowed to use. We are quite positive, and the current 1.0 servers even show that, there will still be 64p servers. So it's your call on which you wanna play.
