Re: Dovre
They are there but wont be there before you "deploy" them with the truck. The CSBs are in the objects list so its probably getting loaded aswell and than dissapears.[R-COM]LITOralis.nMd wrote:The spawn scene bridge has an invisible CSB bridge that is visible while loading and disappears when all networkables are loaded up. By design or is there is phantom object there?
The way to solve this is by changing the start window.
What layers do this happen at?

I can confirm I saw this too. I was very confused when the CSB just disappeared all of a sudden

don't think this is limited to 1.0, I remember seeing this in 981 and it was never an issue as the csb flashed for like half a second

Yeah. Fools Road, British main base bridge comes to my mind. Not a big deal. Not even a small one imo.yellodeath wrote:don't think this is limited to 1.0, I remember seeing this in 981 and it was never an issue as the csb flashed for like half a second

Re: Dovre
Played this map on day and night settings.
The day settings where fine. Its a very cool map. Played it as apc and infantry. One point of interest would be that its hard for the germans to hold down wrecked train as the russians keep paradropping in there.
Did not like the night version. With all the hedges and dense bushes its very hard to properly clear out an area. 2 germans kept us busy at truckstop and we couldnt find m. Bushes like that are hard to clear out on day maps and this was a whole other level haha.
I know night should look and play different but maybe tone it up just a bit.

Re: Dovre
Absolutely fantastic map, one of the best in the past few releases and puts is up there with Shijia for me.
The combat is fast paced and there is little space between objectives, making the fight feel very compartmentalized, essentially moving from one event to another in quick succession. I found that when running a mechanized infantry squad with a BMP-2 the fight was balanced with plenty of cover for the infantry with the hedgerows and trees, with the APC's having ample kill-zones in the open fields. It was up to brilliant squadwork to take the flags such as City Centre and NW Fields thanks to the small capzones, and the new 1:1 flag ratio.
A lot of people compared it to Normandy, and I found that it felt like a well made BF3 or Bad Company map. It just feels like a lot of work has been spent on it.
My one gripe is the fact that boats seem to now take a huge amount of damage when bumping against terrain, which is irritating considering their already whopping speed. Driving from Russian main to the central bridge and back down to the main river left it on fire
Also please add a bleed to the last flags!
Great work Pleym!

Re: Dovre
Not leaving feedback on bugs or anything, I haven't seen anything that isn't already mentioned in the previous posts.
Just overall feedback. I like this map a lot.
Lots of room and cover to maneuver. Has a nice blend of cqb (in the towns), mid range combat (in the woods), and long range combat (across open fields).
There are nice vehicle skirmishes. Those APC's also pull some logistic duty. That is refreshing because that is not always the case on other maps with better logistic options.
Seems to be balanced. There is a lot to like about it.

Got really hard FPS drops when looking in North, Northeast direction, only tested on skirmish.

There are a lot of "easter eggs" on this map, and so many details. The billboard ad from "Solo" portray the maker of the map. The gravestones at the graveyard have funny inscriptions (if I remember correctly), and there are hidden pictures of old PR-players hanging around.
Also, as mentioned the best part is the gym and the basketball court
