Unable to install 1.0

I have been playing PR for quite some time now, I have been in the beta and I played 0.98. I deleted both these files with the recycling bin. But now I can't install 1.0 because it thinks that it is already installed on my PC. Can someone help me, I already deleted all files with project reality in the name.

Have you uninstalled the beta? Through the control panel or the uninstaller, not by manually deleting files.

I have the same problem , but cant find PR (beta) in my install list. but for me the problem is that it says I havent installed BF1.5 patch even if I have it.
I played PR 9.8 at Tactical gamer "Final chance" last night so I know for sure it works.

would it help to delete PR manually since I perhaps just copied over my PR folder from my old computer ? even if this doesnt seem likely that this has something to do with it .

Can you please explain that a bit more?
How specificily do you mean?

( I used CCleaner for fixing it up, also I got bored
with no answers I uninstalled Bf2 and will reinstall it and patch it up and try again. )

Just for Ushiri, pleae never copy over the files like that again, difficult situation to resolve without sitting in front of PC. Ushiri, download the appropriate registry entry from here: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... 1-5-a.html
That will get your registry to say you have BF2 v1.5 installed.


For Ushiri and Liam, when you unzip or mount the .ISO file, use the setup.exe file instead of the autorun file. That should work.

Thank you LITOralis for the answer. I don?t understand about what you say with getting problems when not sitting in front of a pc at all.

But thank you very much for the registryfix. Its to late now since I uninstalled bf2, + cleaned my registry, restarted computer...but It worked now.

But I must tell you that the Launcher don?t work as intended I think since it said I didnt have BF1.5 installed.

If others get this problem aswell I will re-direct them to your very nice registry fix LITOralis. Thank you for the good support here
